Foundever becomes new anchor tenant in Berlin SHED

Customer experience (CX) solutions provider Foundever has leased 5,400 square meters of office space in the SHED project in Berlin-Neukölln. The globally active service provider for customer communication will move into rental space on the fourth and fifth floors of the main SHED building in the joint project of the KLINGSÖHR group of companies and DERECO. A special highlight is the large, west-facing loggia with a view over the entire Berlin city center. The SHED location is set to become Foundever's new flagship.

"Foundever can look forward to ultra-modern space in SHED that meets the latest technical standards," says Stefan Klingsöhr, managing partner of the KLINGSÖHR group of companies. "The open spaces and "social areas" promote effective collaboration and, together with the prime waterfront location, offer great incentive to choose the office over the home office," adds Klingsöhr.

"SHED is the ideal setting for our new German headquarters and the first MAXhub in Germany, our exclusive co-working concept. It provides our team with an inspiring environment for first-class client services and innovation," explains Christian Sajons, Managing Director Germany, Foundever.

"The new office in Berlin marks a significant milestone for Foundever. It underlines our growth trajectory, creates space for the best talent and gives shape to our vision of a future-oriented working world," adds Olivier Camino, Global COO and co-founder of Foundever.

David Noll, member of the management board of DERECO Holding GmbH: "With Foundever, we welcome a global market leader as a tenant at SHED." He adds, "For SHED, we are striving for an environment entirely in line with the new-work model, where collaboration and innovation are at the forefront. The high demand proves our concept right; in a very short time we were able to lease a large part of the office space."

Brokerage Colliers assisted in the leasing of the new office space at SHED, which is equipped with the latest energy standards and is LEED Gold pre-certified. The SHED has an excellent carbon footprint. It has a rooftop photovoltaic system for basic electricity and is connected to the district heating network. Thanks to its prime location on the Schifffahrtskanal in Berlin Neukölln, the SHED also has excellent public transport connections. There are also e-charging stations and parking spaces suitable for the disabled. The SHED building ensemble offers around 33,000 square meters for offices and gastronomy on a site area of more than 15,500 square meters. Tenants to date include SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, Amnesty International, Creditsafe Deutschland, Datagroup, we.CONECT and a climate start-up. The overall occupancy rate is now over 80 percent.
