On August 20, 2020, Berlin-based BAUWERT Aktiengesellschaft celebrated the topping-out ceremony for 16 townhouses in Wildau. The ceremony means that the third and final section of the Am Rosenanger project is nearing completion. The 126 and 156 m² houses are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2020 and will be available for sale or rental from early 2021. The 171 rental apartments in the first and second construction phases have already been completed. The first section is already 90% leased. The leasing of the second section has just started. There are also plans for corporate apartments for companies operating in the airport area.

"The Rosenanger in Wildau is just 15 minutes by car from the new main terminal at BER and is well away from the flight paths," according to Henning Hausmann, Investment Manager at BAUWERT. "There is no similarly attractive residential area near the new airport offering such a green setting and the best infrastructure connections, allowing residents quick access to the airport gates without being impacted by the noise of airport operations." In addition, shopping at the A10 Center is just three minutes' drive away, while central Berlin can be reached in 40 minutes. "Wildau is right in the middle of a metropolitan region which will have its center redefined by the opening of the new airport in just a few months."

The independent urban structure and the wide range of cultural, sporting, and educational offerings, the location on the Dahme Lakes, and the strong economic development speak for Wildau as a place to call home. With 130 companies from the aerospace industry and its university of applied sciences, Wildau has become one of the most important technology centers in Brandenburg. Wildau also has one of the most attractive shopping and leisure centers in Brandenburg with the A10 Center.

With its red roofs, the white plastered facades, and the brick around the ground floor, these three-story townhouses follow local Brandenburg building traditions. Each house has a south-facing garden with a terrace. Spacious, bright rooms, and high-end fittings ensure a cozy ambiance and pleasant, comfortable home.

Because of the ongoing restrictions as a result of the Coronavirus, the topping-out ceremony was held only with the construction workers present.
