Bonava: Topping-out ceremony for an additional 112 rental apartments in Schönefeld
Today the project developer Bonava together with the investor Industria Wohnen are celebrating with the Mayor Dr. Udo Haase the topping-out ceremony for an additional 112 rental apartments at Bayangol-Park in Schönefeld. Spread over five four-story multi-family houses, 7,500 square meters of new living space is being created.
“The construction work at Bayangolpark continues to progress at a tremendous pace. The current buildings are already the third section of our quarter and are expected to be handed over at the end of the year. The first tenants will be able to move in as early as November,” Bonava project manager Michael Geis explains.
The apartments offer two, three, or four rooms with an average living space of 70 square meters and a private balcony or terrace with garden access on the ground floor.
In the coming years, Bonava is building around 1,000 apartments along the Bertolt-Brecht-Allee. 262 rental apartments are currently under construction and another 96 rental and 48 condominium units have already been completed.
“The supply of apartments is growing at a record pace, but demand is not abating. The word is out on how well you can live in Schönefeld. Already at the start of the renting, 60 interested people were on site to find out about the new apartments,” Bonava project manager Michael Geis reports.
In the coming years, the airport community Schönefeld expects well over 20,000 new inhabitants.
