EUROPA-CENTER welcomes three new tenants in the Science City Berlin-Adlershof
The Qt Company
Accompanied by growth. Long-term business relationships can be established with satisfied customers: The Qt Company has been in the EUROPA-CENTER Adlerduo for 10 years. Because with business success comes the increased demand for space, the software developer will move into two stories in the spring of 2019 in the new EUROPA-CENTER am Forum, just a few meters away from the EUROPA-CENTER Adlerduo.
Alexander Blasche, Senior Manager RnD at The Qt Company, says: “The long-term good rental partnership in the EUROPA-CENTER Adlerduo and a convincing offer encouraged us to rely on EUROPA-CENTER for our next growth step as well. In the splendid EUROPA CENTER at the Forum, we can significantly increase our space to 1,650 square meters. We are looking forward to our modern and spacious premises.”
Ramona Schröter, Head of Rental Management at EUROPA-CENTER, initiated the expansion: “Thanks to our intensive construction activities, we now have such a large property portfolio in Adlershof that we can respond flexibly to the growing demand for space of our tenants. We have a long-standing partnership with The QT Company. As a software developer, the company fits perfectly into the environment of Adlershof and the employees are clearly comfortable here. They benefit from the good connections to the autobahn and local traffic, the diverse gastronomy, and the short distances in the district. All daily necessities are available in the immediate vicinity.”
Modern office concept fits the company. The lift manufacturer thyssenkrupp Elevator will also move into the EUROPA-CENTER at the Forum in the second quarter of 2019. The company has rented space on a total of three floors.
“Sustainability is a key criterion for us,” says Alexander Paul, head of the Business Service Center at thyssenkrupp Elevator in Germany. "Our new location was intended to enable modern office concepts and at the same time meet the highest energy and environmental requirements.” The EUROPA-CENTER was ideally suited to the Forum and also suited the kind of work that thyssenkrupp Elevator will be bundling here in the future very well. “We are building a dynamic, highly efficient, and professional internal service provider that will drive the digitization of thyssenkrupp Elevator’s business processes forward in Germany,” adds Alexander Paul. “Adlershof, the largest contiguous research and technology park in Germany, fits very well with the spirit of our newly created Business Service Center.”
Ramona Schröter, Head of Rental at EUROPA-CENTER, is pleased about the new tenant: “With thyssenkrupp Elevator, we have found a highly professional and friendly partner. With its curved, golden facade, the EUROPA-CENTER am Forum is the new landmark in the center of Adlershof. The structure of the building, the equipment, and the modern office concept are a perfect match for the tenant and their needs.” Allianz Handwerker Services - Optimal office space adjacent to the Allianz Campus The first tenant in the EUROPA-CENTER Ecowiss will be.
Allianz Handwerker Services (AHS)
Starting in the spring of 2019, the company will take on just under 2,400 square meters with 150 employees in the new building. AHS offers a wide range of services throughout Germany in the fields of real estate as well as repair and claims management for commercial and private real estate.
Rüdiger Kahde, Managing Director of AHS, is happy to have found the right office space in Adlershof: “We chose the EUROPA-CENTER Ecowiss because the size and structure of the office space suits our needs. The opportunity to participate in designing the space, the plentiful parking spaces, the proximity to the new Allianz campus, and the time frame were the best of all for us.”
René Heyda, manager responsible for leasing at EUROPA-CENTER, is delighted to report: “The talks with AHS were extremely friendly, cooperative, and fair. EUROPA-CENTER Ecowiss excelled with its sophisticated and modern building furnishings, e.g. the service hall on the ground floor with a particularly high ceiling and delivery area.”
Adina Schmidt and André Schmidt from AENGEVELT Berlin negotiated the new move as brokers: “We are pleased that we were able to successfully support AHS in their search for new premises. As part of its successful business development in Berlin, the company needed larger, more modern, and more representative premises with good public transport connections. These requirements are met in the best possible way by the EUROPA-CENTER Ecowiss.”
Strong demand on Berlin’s office market
“We are delighted to be able to present the first tenants for our two properties still under construction. The demand on the Berlin office market is strong and we are already in promising talks for the remaining vacant space,” said Ramona Schröter, Head of Leasing at EUROPA-CENTER. The two new EUROPA-CENTER am Forum and EUROPA-CENTER Ecowiss buildings will be completed in the second quarter of 2019. This will create an additional 8,700 square meters of rental space for offices, research facilities, retail, and restaurants in Berlin-Adlershof. The tenants will have sufficient parking spaces in the EUROPA-CENTER parking garage next to the EUROPA-CENTER Ecowiss. In total, there are now five EUROPA-CENTERs in Berlin-Adlershof with 62,000 square meters of space. The CEO of EUROPA-CENTER, Ralf-Jörg Kadenbach, wants to continue the company’s success story in Berlin: “We are currently looking for additional properties in Berlin. We want to grow!”
