EUROPA-CENTER welcomes three new tenants in the Science City Berlin-Adlershof

Because with business success comes the increased demand for space, the software developer will move into two stories in the spring of 2019 in the new EUROPA-CENTER am Forum, just a few meters away from the EUROPA-CENTER Adlerduo.

thyssenkrupp Elevator
Modern office concept fits the company. The lift manufacturer thyssenkrupp Elevator will also move into the EUROPA-CENTER at the Forum in the second quarter of 2019. The company has rented space on a total of three floors.

“Sustainability is a key criterion for us,” says Alexander Paul, head of the Business Service Center at thyssenkrupp Elevator in Germany. "Our new location was intended to enable modern office concepts and at the same time meet the highest energy and environmental requirements.” The EUROPA-CENTER was ideally suited to the Forum and also suited the kind of work that thyssenkrupp Elevator will be bundling here in the future very well. “We are building a dynamic, highly efficient, and professional internal service provider that will drive the digitization of thyssenkrupp Elevator’s business processes forward in Germany,” adds Alexander Paul. “Adlershof, the largest contiguous research and technology park in Germany, fits very well with the spirit of our newly created Business Service Center.”

Allianz Handwerker Services (AHS)
Starting in the spring of 2019, the company will take on just under 2,400 square meters with 150 employees in the new building. AHS offers a wide range of services throughout Germany in the fields of real estate as well as repair and claims management for commercial and private real estate.

Rüdiger Kahde, Managing Director of AHS, is happy to have found the right office space in Adlershof: “We chose the EUROPA-CENTER Ecowiss because the size and structure of the office space suits our needs. The opportunity to participate in designing the space, the plentiful parking spaces, the proximity to the new Allianz campus, and the time frame were the best of all for us.”

Strong demand on Berlin’s office market
“We are delighted to be able to present the first tenants for our two properties still under construction. The demand on the Berlin office market is strong and we are already in promising talks for the remaining vacant space,” said Ramona Schröter, Head of Leasing at EUROPA-CENTER. The two new EUROPA-CENTER am Forum and EUROPA-CENTER Ecowiss buildings will be completed in the second quarter of 2019. This will create an additional 8,700 square meters of rental space for offices, research facilities, retail, and restaurants in Berlin-Adlershof. The tenants will have sufficient parking spaces in the EUROPA-CENTER parking garage next to the EUROPA-CENTER Ecowiss. In total, there are now five EUROPA-CENTERs in Berlin-Adlershof with 62,000 square meters of space. The CEO of EUROPA-CENTER, Ralf-Jörg Kadenbach, wants to continue the company’s success story in Berlin: “We are currently looking for additional properties in Berlin. We want to grow!”
