Leasing starts for Tower B5, the landmark building of the "Am Oktogon" campus at Berlin-Adlershof
In a high-visibility location on the corner of Rudower Chaussee and Hermann-Dorner-Allee, Tower B5 will offer some 3,600 square meters (38,750 sq. ft.) of space over seven stories. This central building on the Am Oktogon campus in Berlin-Adlershof will offer an attractive view of the Berlin TV Tower near Alexanderplatz from the rooftop terrace on the 6th floor. Like the other buildings on the campus, Tower B5 also meets the LEED Gold standard set by the U.S. Green Building Council.
Plans for the building are currently being reviewed for planning permission. Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2018 and to be complete by December 2019. Tower B5 is ideally suited for a single tenant who wants to secure an attractive new building under attractive conditions before construction starts.
The "Am Oktogon" campus in Berlin-Adlershof will have more than 80,000 square meters (861,000 sq. ft.) of rental space in 17 new, energy-efficient buildings being developed by immobilien-experten-ag. Each can be rented as a single unit or in subsections. In addition to the Am Oktogon campus, a modern congress and conference hotel, the Campus-Hotel Adlershof, and OfficeLab-Campus Adlershof, a future-oriented office complex, are among the current projects of immobilien-experten.ag. Both projects are located directly between the Adlershof S-Bahn station and the new Allianz building.
Berlin-Adlershof is being built as a technology cluster that will be unique in Europe. It is expected soon to be the home of more than 1,000 companies. These companies are being drawn to Berlin thanks to the direct vicinity of ten non-academic research institutions and six scientific institutes of the Humboldt University.
