New construction: topping-out ceremony after surprisingly short construction period
The Am Oktogon campus in Berlin-Adlershof is growing rapidly, with walls for new construction being raised one after another. After just 2.5 months, the shell of the B4 office and laboratory building at Rudower Chaussee 52 was completed at the end of July. The topping-out ceremony for this, the fifth new building going up, took place on August 29, 2018, in the presence of Mr. Oliver Igel, mayor of the Treptow-Köpenick district. With a design similar to that of its neighbors, the B4 building will offer around 2,200 m² (23,681 sq. ft.) for lease, spread over five floors of 440 m² (4,736 sq. ft.) each. It will be ready for occupation by March 2019.
Offering an attractive and modern standard for office space including CAT 7 data cabling, the lease prices are very reasonable compared to the competition in Adlershof. Even if the standard of finishes will already be high, the special wishes of tenants can be readily accommodated.
Like its neighbors, the energy-efficient building has been certified as meeting the LEED Gold sustainability standard.
