Stahnsdorf: Great interest in Bonava's Bäke development
Project developer Bonava has started selling 66 new apartments in the municipality of Stahnsdorf near Potsdam. On a 10,000 m² (2.47 acre) site at Wilhelm-Külz-Straße 58/60, a new development consisting of six apartment buildings will be built by 2021.
"We want to start building by spring 2019 at the latest. The first members of the new community will be able to move in about two years later. The last units will also be completed by the end of 2021," explains Bonava project manager Christopher Haak.
The concept comprises a total of six apartment buildings, each with three floors plus a mezzanine or penthouse level. The apartments themselves will offer one, two, or three bedrooms, as well as terraces or private balconies, and will range in size from 55 to 114 m² (592 to 1,227 sq. ft.). A special highlight of the development will be the extensive outdoor areas with seating areas, a court to play bocce, and playgrounds for children. An underground garage will offer 73 parking spaces below the complex. An additional 45 outdoor parking spaces will also be provided.
"We are not only creating living space here, but also places for neighborly encounters. We want to create a green oasis in which all residents feel immediately at home," Christopher Haak said, describing the concept of the German-Swedish project developer. He is pleased with the considerable interest shown in the project: "The first apartments have already been reserved."
For Bonava, the quarter in Stahnsdorf is one of six current construction projects in the immediate vicinity. Two quarters with a total of 272 rental and condominium apartments are being built in neighboring Teltow. A residential complex with 45 condominiums is also planned on Lake Glindow in Werder. Further neighborhoods with detached houses are being built in Michendorf and Kladow.
