A state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz location is being built in Berlin-Marienfelde. The topping-out ceremony was held August 25; the new building is scheduled to open in the second half of 2021.

"With the new building in Marienfelde, close to the Mercedes-Benz factory in Marienfelde, we are making a sensible addition to our locations here across Berlin," Hans-Bahne Hansen, Director of the Mercedes-Benz Berlin dealership, said. “From 2021, new digital elements and a focus on electric mobility will be key to the ultra-modern brand image we're aiming for in Marienfelde. It will allow us to offer our customers even more individual and emotional product and service experiences from Mercedes-Benz and smart."

The new building is being built on the site of the previous location. The new showroom will take up 1,100 m² (12,000 sq. ft.) of the more than 7,500 m² (80,000 sq. ft.) building. It will offer space to present 20 showcase vehicles plus an additional 136 outdoor spaces over the 20,000 m² (five acre) site. The pioneering new center in Daimlerstraße will be 100% geared towards the requirements of electromobility and digitalization. Daimler is investing millions of euros in the double-digit range in this extensive new building in Marienfelde.

Large electromobility center on Daimlerstraße
Electromobility will shape the new Mercedes-Benz Center in Marienfelde in a special way. The Mercedes-Benz Berlin dealership will offer all sales and service offerings for the new EQ product and technology brand launched by Mercedes-Benz Cars as its electromobility umbrella brand.
The location will feature a special showroom for all of Mercedes-Benz, smart, and EQ brands. The center's parking spaces will also be equipped with 8 charging stations to allow up to 16 vehicles to be charged at the same time.

Redesign of the Marienfelde showroom
In the showroom, digital solutions will make the customer experience even more individual and thus complement the irreplaceable haptic experience of touching the physical product. The point of sale will become the point of experience with innovative store and location concepts.

Innovative repair shop concepts, too
The core of the new repair shop in Marienfelde will be the service lane concept, in which all processes will consistently serve to provide optimal customer care. Using the Mercedes me connect services, customers can conveniently arrange service appointments online or book replacement vehicles in advance.
Hans-Bahne Hansen: “With the new building at the Marienfelde location, our consistent focus is on digitalization, networking, electromobility, and highly customized mobility and service offerings. Real and digital experiences will be combined to create a unique product and brand experience that appeals to all the senses."
