Shell closed in at Allianz Campus Berlin
One year after the cornerstone was laid for the new location of Berliner Allianz at Adlershof on September 11, 2017, another milestone was met with the topping-off ceremony, marking the closing of the building shell from the elements. This means that construction is running completely on schedule. The project is being designed and developed in a joint effort by CORPUS SIREO Real Estate and FOM Real Estate from Heidelberg. As project manager, FOM Real Estate GmbH is also responsible for the turnkey completion, working with its general contractor Ed. Züblin AG of Stuttgart. The new office complex will be completed by the end of 2018 and Allianz will take possession in early 2019. They have signed a lease with a minimum 15-year term. The owner of Allianz Campus Berlin is a Korean investment fund that acquired the property in July 2017. The property will offer 60,000 m² (646,000 sq. ft.) of office space in three five-story buildings connected by two pedestrian bridges across Merlitzstraße. A parking garage offering 689 spaces will also be built on an adjacent site.
