Logistics center developed by ECE near Berlin fully leased before completion: The long-term tenant of the ultra-modern logistics property in Königs-Wusterhausen near Berlin will be CEVA Logistics, a leading global logistics provider and part of the CMA CGM shipping and logistics group. CEVA Logistics has leased the entire 56,000 m² Logistik Center Berlin-Süd developed by ECE and will gradually start operations at the beginning of October. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of October.

"Being able to fully lease the logistics center we developed at this early stage shows the sustained high demand for high-quality logistics space and speaks for the quality of the location and the entire property," Henrie W. Kötter, Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director for Work & Live at ECE, remarked. "At the same time, we see this as confirmation of our strategy to develop high-quality logistics space in good locations for flexible use, even without early tenant commitment."

The ultra-modern property is located in Königs Wusterhausen, about three miles outside of Berlin's city limits and less than a mile from the A 10 Berlin Autobahn ring, making it ideally connected to transport infrastructure. Berlin-Schönefeld Airport is also only a 15 to 20-minute drive away. The location also allows unrestricted 24/7 use. The property also includes separate, high-quality office and social areas.
