The nationwide real estate developer benchmark. REAL Estate (benchmark.) and the INTERBODEN Group have purchased two plots of land in Altglienicke in the Berlin district of Treptow-Köpenick. Around 80 condominiums in the mid-price segment are being built in Pfarrwöhrde, along with around 80 parking spaces. Benchmark. and INTERBODEN are investing an amount in the low double-digit million euros in the project.
The joint venture’s plans call for several structures on the 7,768 sqm site and a shared underground parking garage with a gross floor area of approximately 7,500 sqm. Benchmark. and INTERBODEN are focusing on a broad mix of apartments with units ranging from around 52 m² to around 106 m² of living space. Playgrounds and bicycle storage facilities are set to be constructed on the landscaped outdoor areas. In consultation with the relevant authorities, the project partners will examine whether it is possible to make better use of the land to create more living space. The project should be completed by the end of 2024.
The property is located in a general residential area and is connected to public transport via the Korkedamm bus stop, which is within walking distance, and the Adlershof S-Bahn station. There is a connection to long-distance transit via the nearby A113 autobahn. Berlin Brandenburg Airport can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. There are extensive wooded areas as well as the Grünau and Müggelsee lidos within a radius of a few kilometers.
