Takeda moves into FÜRST Berlin

Leading global biopharmaceutical company Takeda is relocating its Berlin office – the sales headquarters for the German market – to FÜRST Berlin, the new urban quarter on Kurfürstendamm. With the new location, Takeda is strengthening its collaboration, innovative capabilities and presence within Berlin’s healthcare ecosystem. The move in is scheduled for the end of 2027.

FÜRST secures an international tenant.

Project reaches 40 percent occupancy

With Takeda on board, approximately 40 percent of the project's total space is now occupied. Further tenants at FÜRST include among others the premium apartment hotel A by Adina, premium fitness club David Lloyd, RTL, REWE and the Komödie am Kurfürstendamm theatre.

FÜRST Berlin is an architectural landmark of Berlin's City West. Across approximately 106,000 sqm of total space, a vibrant, sustainable urban quarter is taking shape on Kurfürstendamm, featuring a unique mix of uses: around 58,000 sqm of office space, 14,200 sqm of culture and leisure, retail and a diverse range of dining options. Approximately 8,500 sqm of attractive terraces and landscaped courtyards create a high-quality environment for tenants and visitors alike. 

On behalf of FÜRST, the leasing process was coordinated by Dunman Capital and CELLS, with Taurecon acting as technical and WBRE as commercial project coordinator. The transaction was facilitated by CBRE. Legal counsel for the landlord was provided by Greenberg Traurig; the tenant was advised by LAMBSDORFF.
