The ABG Real Estate Group, together with its joint venture partner Felix Gädeke, welcomes three new tenants to the VoltAir office and commercial building complex in Berlin Mitte: With Seven Senders, BIT Capital and TomTom, well-known companies secure a place in the new landmark property in the heart of the Federal capital. The leases are long-term and include office space totaling 10,000 m². The moving in of the new tenants is planned from mid-2022.
The VoltAir Berlin is located in the excellently developed business location Berlin Mitte (Alexanderstrasse, Voltairestrasse, Dircksenstrasse) and therefore is in an environment that is rapidly gaining importance for the Berlin economy. The unusual and expressive new building therefore is an important additional office location next to Alexanderplatz and Mediaspree. The total investment volume of the landmark property is 450 million Euro.

Background VoltAir Berlin
The VoltAir is a landmark property on a 6,500 m² plot with five separate entrances and two representative lobbies with entrances to the spacious and leafy inner courtyard. The ground floor comprises around 3,000 m² of rental space for retail and catering. On the seven upper floors, around 27,000 m² are available for office and business space. An open interior design in a loft style with visible concrete surfaces and technical installations offers a wide range of options and high flexibility for spatial design. The building has numerous balconies and terraces in the area of the outer and inner courtyard facades with an area of more than 2,000 m². Three roof terraces, each with an area of 100 m² and interesting views over the surroundings, elegantly round off the architecture. The underground car park has over 90 parking spaces. Several S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations as well as bus stops are within easy walking distance of around 200 m. To construct the complex, 21,000 m³ of concrete and 4,000 tons of steel were used.
Construction began at the end of 2018. Completion is scheduled for mid-2022. The VoltAir is pre-certified according to LEED Gold, a WiredScore Gold certification is available.
