Usage Profile
Just a few kilometres from Berlin’s southeast border, the Technology and Science Park Wildau has established itself as a location for research and development, high-tech production and intelligent services, as well as for education and training. Close to the Wildau Technical University of Applied Sciences, the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research IAP, and DESY, one of the world’s leading accelerator centres and part of the Helmholtz Society, the Dahme-Spreewald economic development agency runs five technology centres, all boasting state-of-the-art hall and office spaces. Among these are the Aerospace Technology Centre I to III (ZLR), the Centre for Future Technologies (ZFZ) and the Wildau Technology and Start-up Centre (TGZ). More than 70 innovative companies from the mobility, digitalisation, greentech and life sciences sectors have already opened their doors here and are part of international networks. They especially appreciate the environment defined by high-tech companies with diverse cooperation possibilities, the ideal links to Berlin and BER airport, as well as the high quality of life in the Dahme-Spreewald rural district.
