Usage Profile
Adlershof is Germany’s biggest and most successful science, business and media hub, home to approximately 1,200 companies and 25,000 employees. Credit for this success goes to the distinctive cooperation environment of excellent scientific institutions, such as the Humboldt University of Berlin, successful technology companies and growing start-ups. Adlershof most probably has the highest density of global market leaders in Germany – 90 companies from the most diverse industries speak for themselves. More than 530 companies, especially from the fields of photonics, photovoltaics and renewable energies, microsystems and materials, IT and media, as well as biotechnology and environment, work in the science and technology park. Six natural science institutes of the Humboldt University and ten renowned extramural research institutions are also based here.
