TOWNSCAPE takes over the completion of the QH Track in Berlin's Europacity

In addition to its own projects, the project developer Townscape will also take on the implementation of third-party construction projects in future. The first project to be acquired was the completion of the major QH Track project directly adjacent to Berlin's main railway station. The clients are the QH Track project companies, which are owned by funds advised by Oaktree Capital Management.

As part of the newly emerging quarter, the office building ensemble will complete Europacity to the west and will comprise around 133,600 square meters of gross floor space once completed. This means that QH Track will account for around three quarters of the office space in Quartier Heidestrasse.

Thomas Schiffer, Managing Partner of Townscape: "With the QH Track, we are completing an important building block in Quartier Heidestrasse. We are delighted with the trust that Oaktree has placed in us. At the same time, taking on the management mandate is an important milestone for Townscape: in future, we will not only realize our own project developments, but also implement projects as a service developer."

The QH Track offers space for various usage concepts with flexible floor plans. In addition to the software company SAP, the Volkswagen subsidiary Cariad SE and the Adler Group have already signed up as tenants.

Accordingly, in addition to the current Townscape projects, Townscape founders Henrik Sassenscheidt, Sebastian and Philipp Grabianowski and Thomas Schiffer will also be focusing on the Service Development business segment at this year's MIPIM.
