The flex office provider 1000 Satellites is opening its first location in Berlin with the “Satellit Chaussee”, sending a clear signal for further growth in the capital and across Germany. The new location at Chausseestraße 117 in Berlin-Mitte, which has previously served and will continue to serve as the German headquarters of a fintech company, combines modern infrastructure with maximum flexibility and a central location. From now on, 1000 Satellites enables companies and teams to use professional, workplace-compliant work environments.
Gregory von Abendroth, Managing Director of 1000 Satellites GmbH: “Berlin is more than just a new location for us. With the ‘Satellit Chaussee’, we are taking over the headquarters space of the digital company while also offering other companies and teams the opportunity to benefit from flexible workspace solutions. After successfully implementing our concept in Munich and Mannheim, we are now creating our first central yet neighborhood-oriented satellite office in Berlin – driven by the people on site, the community and the quality of the experience.”
Linda Kontar, Senior Business Manager at 1000 Satellites and responsible for the new location, adds: “The ‘Satellit Chaussee’ is the logical next step for us. It provides space for productive collaboration and is aimed at people and companies looking for professional work environments that are high-quality equipped while remaining simple and straightforward to use. Our goal is to create an environment with a clear identity: places that are attractive, welcoming and close to the everyday needs of users, making work more flexible, closer to home and more productive at the same time.”
With around 7,000 square metres of space across six floors, 1000 Satellites at Chausseestraße offers high-quality workspace including private offices, exclusive fully equipped office floors, coworking areas, as well as professional meeting and event spaces. The concept is complemented by a spacious community hub on the ground floor, serving as a vibrant communication space that combines everyday work, exchange and community. Urban terraces and outdoor areas extend the workspaces beyond the building and create places for meetings, informal conversations or focused individual work.
The open and flexible design of the space creates modern working environments that meet the requirements of hybrid work models while also providing a fresh, organised and inviting atmosphere. On-site community managers welcome users with a personal approach and genuine hospitality. Different room concepts support both collaboration and opportunities for focused work, creating a professional environment equipped with ergonomic furniture, modern media technology, screens and powerful infrastructure that simply works. The result is a workplace with a high quality of stay that noticeably supports people in their daily work.
Even before the official opening, 1000 Satellites was able to attract renowned users for the location, including the fintech company and PPRO. The digital company was already a tenant in the building and will continue to be represented at the “Satellit Chaussee” in the future. The e-commerce provider PPRO was also previously a tenant and will remain a user of the “Satellit Chaussee”. This underlines the attractiveness of the location for established companies seeking high-quality and flexible work environments.
“The ‘Satellit Chaussee’ is located in the heart of Berlin-Mitte, just a few minutes from Berlin Central Station, and offers excellent public transport connections,” explains Kontar. “At the same time, the location is situated in a quiet courtyard of a historic building, combining urban accessibility with a focused working atmosphere. The direct proximity to underground connections, restaurants and hotels makes the location particularly attractive for companies, project teams and hybrid work models.”
With its entry into the Berlin market, 1000 Satellites is consistently continuing its quality-driven growth strategy. The company does not see growth as pure scaling, but rather as the result of relevance, demand and sustainable quality. Berlin serves as the starting point for further expansion in the capital region and across Germany wherever professional work environments, community and a clear vision come together.
The official opening will be celebrated on 30 September.
