Airport Berlin Brandenburg: Norwegian Air Shuttle now flies to Tromsø

Off to the capital of the northern lights: the airline Norwegian Air Shuttle now flies from BER to Tromsø. The new direct connection is on the Norwegian airline’s schedule twice a week. Flights depart from Terminal 2 every Thursday and Sunday. The flight time is three hours. On Thursdays, the flight leaves BER at 2:30 pm and lands in Norway at 5:30 pm. On Sundays, the aircraft takes off from BER at 5:25 pm and lands in the far north at 8:25 pm. In the opposite direction, the aircraft take off at 9:35 am on Thursdays, landing at BER at 12:40 pm and at 1.25 pm on Sundays, arriving at 4:30 pm. The route uses a Boeing 737-800. 

Tromsø is located in the middle of the Arctic, 350 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle and is the largest city in northern Norway. As the gateway to the Arctic Ocean, the city, which is surrounded by picturesque fjords and snow-capped peaks, is an ideal starting point for discovering the Arctic by boat. During the winter aurora borealis season, you can observe the northern lights dancing in the sky and discover snow-covered forests on a reindeer sleigh. Highlights in Tromsø itself include the Arctic Cathedral and the Polar Museum. 

Norwegian Air Shuttle is the largest Norwegian airline and one of Europe’s leading low-cost airlines. More than 300 million passengers have flown with Norwegian since 2002. The airline also flies from BER Airport to Bergen, Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm, as well as to Trondheim in the summer schedule. All Norwegian flights are handled at Terminal 2.
