Berlin Brandenburg Airport | Traffic Statistics April 2025

In April 2025, 2.22 million people travelled through Berlin Brandenburg Airport. This is around 70,000 more than in April 2024, according to the preliminary figures in the traffic report. The busiest day of the month with 84,649 passengers was the last day of the holidays, Sunday 27 April. Around 1.2 million passengers used BER during the two-week Easter holidays alone.

A total of 16,291 aircraft took off and landed at BER last month. In April 2024, there were 16,689 take-offs and landings.

Air freight in April was 3.9 percent higher than the freight volume in April 2024. In total, more than 3,900 tonnes of freight were handled at BER last month.
