Bonava launches final section in Schönefeld

After almost 10 years of construction, the residential quarter around Schönefeld's Bayangol Park is entering the final stretch. Project developer Bonava is now presenting the details for its last construction site at Theodor-Fontane-Allee 2-2h. Another 102 condominiums will be built on the approximately 14,000-square-meter site by 2026.

The new section comprises a total of 9 city villas, each with three floors plus a mezzanine floor. The planned apartments offer 1.5 to 5 rooms making them suitable for singles and couples as well as for families. The sizes vary from 46 to 143 square meters. Each apartment has a terrace with garden access, a balcony or a spacious roof terrace. All levels will be accessible barrier-free by elevator. The city villas are grouped around a green inner courtyard, which will become a popular meeting place for residents thanks to a large playground and plenty of seating. Below the planned facility is a central underground parking garage that provides space for 90 cars, bicycles and also a separate space for prams. A further 39 parking spaces are planned outside the houses.

"The first work will start shortly, so that we can hand over the first keys by spring 2025 at the latest. We want to finally complete our work in Schönefeld some two years later" reports Bonava project manager Maria Mannewitz, who is overseeing the construction project together with Rainer Buckenauer.

In total, Bonava will then have built 969 new apartments and houses along Bayangol Park.  These are divided into 105 town houses, 484 rental apartments and 380 condominiums.

"When we unveiled our first townhomes in 2012, we were alone on a huge site and very few people could have imagined the rapid speed at which this place would change. Today, a lively neighborhood and a popular home for hundreds of families has sprung up around our neighborhood. We therefore expect good demand for our last section as well,” says project manager Rainer Buckenauer.
