Bundesbau signs multi-party agreement for major project in Berlin-Adlershof

The Bundesbau Baden-Württemberg (BBBW) is realizing a new building for the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in Berlin-Adlershof Technology Park in Integrated Project Execution (IPA). On April 25, 2023, BBBW and its partners signed a multi-party contract in Berlin for the planning and execution of the major project. The contract volume for the new building with the Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks as the client is around 200 million euros.

The signing of the contract marks the beginning of close cooperation between the client, planning offices and construction companies. IPA relies on cooperation and focuses on the joint success of the project: the construction of a new research building that meets BAM's high requirements - on time and within budget. "The fact that we are signing a joint contract today is thanks to all the parties present here and especially to the dedicated project team. The project team has succeeded in inspiring first the institutions, then the companies and, above all, the people for our new project and the innovative approach IPA has chosen," says Klaus Max Rippel, Head of Federal Construction Baden-Württemberg.

The signing of the contract marks the beginning of the IPA team's collaboration in Berlin, on site at the co-location at Groß-Berliner Damm 149. At the kick-off event in April 2023, the contractual partners got to know each other better, and the first project workshops mark the start of interdisciplinary collaboration at eye level. The IPA team is accompanied by the consulting companies Yukon Projects GmbH, ECE Group Services GmbH & Co. KG and Breyer Rechtsanwälte PartmbB.
