Creditsafe Germany leases 1,000 square meters at SHED in Berlin-Neukölln

A joint venture between the KLINGSÖHR Group and DERECO has leased around 1,000 square meters to Creditsafe Germany in the SHED project in the Berlin district of Neukölln. Creditsafe is a global credit reporting agency with 25 offices on three continents. "The lease confirms the appeal of SHED and the location in Neukölln. SHED is easy to reach by public transport or by car," explains Stefan Klingsöhr, managing partner of the KLINGSÖHR Group. The SHED development is located directly at the Sonnenallee S-Bahn station, within walking distance of several bus stops and in the immediate vicinity of the A100 motorway extension and the future cycle route.

"SHED offers attractive and modern space for our employees that meets all the 'New Work' criteria. In addition to the excellent location of the SHED, the professional and fast letting process of the Klingsöhr group of companies was what convinced us," says Jens Junak, Managing Director and Country Manager of Creditsafe Deutschland GmbH. Creditsafe will move into the second-floor space in the fourth quarter of 2023. The leasing was accompanied by the brokerage house Knight Frank.

David Noll, Member of the Management Board of DERECO Holding GmbH: "We are very pleased that with Creditsafe Deutschland, we have been able to gain another renowned tenant for SHED. The diverse usage concept is thus taking on concrete forms, and the SHED development will sustainably revitalize the area."

The SHED building ensemble will offer around 35,000 square meters for offices, start-ups and gastronomic ventures on a site covering more than 15,500 square meters. The SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences will also occupy space in the project. SHED is located directly on the shipping canal in Neukölln in the NEUE UFER commercial area. The gastronomic offer in the project itself as well as in the surrounding area ensure an attractive neighborhood environment. The investment volume amounts to around 200 million euros. The project is financed by Berliner Sparkasse. The building owner is a joint venture of the KLINGSÖHR Group and DERECO.
