The Berlin Airports region presented itself at Expo Real 2024 on the joint Berlin-Brandenburg stand (Hall B2 / Stand 420). As part of the trade fair, the region's developments and location advantages were presented to an international audience of investors, companies and decision-makers.

Jan-Alexander Ernst, team leader for location development at the Brandenburg Economic Development Board (WFBB) and the Airport Region Team (ART), joined other political and business representatives to present the region's key issues. Topics included economic development around BER Airport and the benefits of cooperation between Berlin and Brandenburg.
ART's role as a point of contact for companies wishing to locate or expand in the region was highlighted. The team's tasks include advising on the search for a location, assisting in the search for skilled workers and arranging business contacts. The team also provides information on funding opportunities and growth industries in the region.
The Airport Region extends from the centre of Berlin to BER Airport and the surrounding area. It offers companies access to a well-developed infrastructure and a variety of business parks.
