KLINGSÖHR and DERECO rent to DATAGROUP in Berlin

The joint venture between the KLINGSÖHR Group and DERECO has handed over a further rental space in the SHED project in Berlin-Neukölln. The tenant DATAGROUP, a provider of IT infrastructures and business applications with more than 3,500 employees throughout Germany, will operate the 1,550 square meter space on the third floor of the main SHED building together with the NEW WORK STATION. NEW WORK STATION offers its users flexible coworking space for individual work and meetings. The company will thus open its first Berlin location in SHED from June 1. “By handing over the rental space to DATAGROUP and NEW WORK STATION, we are moving closer to our goal of creating a lively, vibrant quarter for office users,” says Stefan Klingsöhr, Managing Partner of the KLINGSÖHR Group, adding: “At SHED, the new tenants will find a flexible space with a high-speed fiber optic connection that meets all New Work criteria.” 

Flexibility and innovation

Investment and perspectives

The SHED building ensemble, located directly on Berlin's S-Bahn ring, will offer around 35,000 square meters of office space on a site measuring more than 15,500 square meters. The investment volume amounts to around 240 million euros. The project is being financed by Berliner Sparkasse. The developer is a joint venture between the KLINGSÖHR Group and DERECO. With an occupancy rate of more than 80 percent, the SHED project is almost fully let.

The Future Workplace

SHED is part of the NEUE UFER development site in Berlin-Neukölln, which includes the HOHE NEUN project of the KLINGSÖHR Group and DERECO, as well as the new “Estrel Tower” in Berlin, which will be the tallest building in Berlin at 176 meters when it is completed in 2025. The DOXS NKLN project completes the development site.
