TOWNSCAPE acquires another plot of land in Berlin's Brunnenviertel

TOWNSCAPE has acquired a new plot of land for its third project in Berlin's Brunnenviertel. The company is currently investigating a wide range of possible uses for the site.

Project developer TOWNSCAPE has acquired a third plot of land in Berlin's Brunnenviertel in order to realize another project at this successful location in the center of Berlin. The approx. 4,000 m² property at Ackerstraße 89 has potential for a variety of uses; several concepts are currently being examined. Philipp Grabianowski, Managing Partner of Townscape: “We have always been convinced of the potential of this location. In addition to the GROW office project we completed in 2019 and the directly adjacent ENTER office project which will be completed this quarter, we have started our next commitment to Berlin's Brunnenviertel with the purchase of the property in Ackerstraße." Many start-ups and innovative companies have already settled in the immediate vicinity. The two office projects ENTER and GROW are within walking distance. The location is well integrated into the capital's transport network. The entire area has a long industrial history. The nearby historic brick buildings were once AEG production facilities. Today, companies from the media sector and other sectors have settled in the recently modernized buildings. The so-called Humboldthain Technology Park is one of the commercial locations in the center of Berlin showing the most growth. In recent years, well over 60 companies not only from the media and creative industries, but also from technical and research institutions have settled here.
