As part of its location optimization and expansion strategy, UXCam GmbH, the German subsidiary of the American IT and software company UXCam, headquartered in San Francisco, was looking for a new site for its Germany headquarters in Berlin. Aengevelt facilitated the lease of attractive loft-style office spaces in the mixed-use building at Schönhauser Allee 149 in Prenzlauer Berg. The landlord of the property, which offers a total office area of approximately 2,400 m², is the BerlinPrime Group, which achieves full occupancy of the office spaces with this lease. The lease will commence in spring 2026, when UXCam will relocate from its current site in Wedding.
“In times of increasing skills shortages, positioning ourselves as an attractive employer is crucial to finding the right new colleagues, especially in software development. This includes offering attractive, modern office spaces and a top-quality working environment. Against this background, we were looking for new premises in a vibrant district that meet these requirements both in terms of space and location. The site facilitated by Aengevelt is ideal for this: the modern loft-style offices are located in a prime neighborhood in Prenzlauer Berg, surrounded by a lively, creative environment, providing an optimal working atmosphere,” explains Silvanus Alt, Managing Director of UXCam GmbH, describing the factors behind the leasing decision.
“We are delighted to welcome UXCam, an internationally active company, to Schönhauser Allee 149. The software specialist is an excellent addition to our tenant mix and further confirms the quality and attractiveness of our property and its location,” says Jürgen Terschluse, Managing Director of BerlinPrime Properties.
“Our company presented UXCam GmbH with the complete range of office spaces that matched their search criteria. The decision ultimately fell on the loft-style office building at Schönhauser Allee 149. The property impressed with its modern, flexible office layouts that optimally meet the company’s requirements, while also offering a unique working atmosphere. Additional factors included the attractive retail and dining options in the immediate vicinity and excellent transport connections, including access to public transportation,” explains Adina Schmidt from Aengevelt Berlin, highlighting the qualities of the leased office spaces.
