The Airport Region Team is a cooperation of the two business development agencies, Berlin Partner for Business and Technology and the Economic Development Agency Brandenburg (WFBB) and is focused on economically strengthening the region around Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). With headquarters directly at BER Airport, we are the first point of contact for companies interested in opening new branches or offices in the region.

Biotechnology company chooses VoltAir Berlin as its representative office in the capital
In the last seven months, ABG Real Estate Group has leased approximately 90,000 sqm of commercial space throughout Germany. With its joint venture partner Felix Gädeke, AGB can now record further letting successes for the VoltAir office and commercial building complex in Berlin-Mitte. The first new tenant is a leading listed German biotechnology company, which will set up its representative office in the German capital on an area of 1,700 sqm. The move-in is planned for early 2023. The second new tenant is Hal Leonhard, the leading international music publisher, which will occupy around 250 sqm in VoltAir from the beginning of 2023. With the leases now signed, the office space in VoltAir has already been fully leased before completion.
VoltAir is already one of Berlin's most modern and appealing office and commercial complexes. It is situated in the Berlin-Mitte business district (Alexanderstrasse, Voltairestrasse, Dircksenstrasse), which is rapidly gaining economic importance and already houses well-known companies.

This successful development is now continuing unabated with the full occupancy of VoltAir in Berlin."
The lettings were arranged by the brokerage houses Colliers Berlin (biotechnology company) and BNP Berlin (Hal Leonhard). The renowned companies Seven Senders and TomTom already secured a place at VoltAir Berlin back in December 2021. In January 2022, the digital bank N26 followed, which will set up its German headquarters there.
