DIEAG wins world market leader as anchor tenant for Behrens-Ufer

As the first new tenant in Schöneweide, an internationally active high-tech production company in the electronics industry, is building a new production site on more than 10,000 square meters.

The tenant, who does not wish to be named at this time, will occupy production and laboratory space as well as office space in the listed Peter-Behrens Building. The lease is expected to start in early 2024. The building is located in the Nord-Karree of the BE-U | Behrens-Ufer commercial district currently being developed by the DIEAG Group between Ostendstraße and Spreeufer in Berlin-Oberschöneweide.

A total of 235,000 square meters of rental space for commercial businesses is being created in historic and new buildings on the approximately ten-hectare former industrial site of BE-U | Behrens-Ufer which is divided into three construction phases. Completion is planned for 2027.
