Berlin Brandenburg Airport | Traffic Statistics January 2025

Last January, 1,563,533 people travelled via BER. That is about six percent more than in January 2024 at 1,477,579 passengers, based on preliminary figures in the traffic report. At 70,291 passengers, 2 January was the busiest day of the month.

In total, 12,879 aircraft took off and landed at BER last month. That is 7.5 percent more than in the first month of the previous year. January 2024 saw 11,980 take-offs and landings.

Air freight last January was 26.2 percent higher than the freight volume in January 2024. Last month, 3,604 tonnes of freight were handled at BER.
