In May, 2.3 million people travelled through BER Airport. Compared to the previous month, April 2026, this represented an increase of 9.5 percent, or some 200,000 passengers. Contrasted with May 2025, some 22,000 more people, a 0.9 percent increase, used the capital region’s airport, as shown by the figures in the traffic report. At 91,231 passengers, 22 May 2026, the Friday before Whitsun, was the busiest day.
