Eyemaxx celebrates topping-out ceremony for “Schützenstrasse” project in Berlin

Eyemaxx Real Estate AG has celebrated the topping-out ceremony for the “Schützenstrasse” real estate project in Berlin. Eyemaxx is realizing a mixed-use property with a total leasable area of around 7,400 square meters on the approximately 3,900-square-meter site in Berlin-Schönefeld, not far from the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). The project includes office space as well as a hotel with 150 rooms and 30 serviced apartments, for which Eyemaxx has already signed a long-term lease agreement with a renowned hotel operator. The structural work has now been completed and the interior work is proceeding according to schedule. Eyemaxx expects the project to be completed on schedule in the third quarter of 2022.

We assume that the situation for the hotel industry in Berlin will ease as the vaccination campaign progresses and that attractive, state-of-the-art accommodations will be well received.
