FAY leases another 860 square meters in FLEXGATE at BER

FAY Projects leased more than half of the office space in the new construction project FLEXGATE immediately after handing over the keys. Other new tenants include GOLDBECK, with part of its Berlin office and residential building, and Goldenstein Rechtsanwälte. The companies signed contracts for 544 and 320 square meters and can move into their spaces at short notice. "The remaining interior work in the building is proceeding according to plan and as of 01.10.2022, all rental units will be completed and ready for occupancy," reports Clemens Rapp, Managing Director of FAY Projects. "We will conclude further leases by the end of the year and are currently in concrete negotiations with a number of interested parties."

FLEXGATE has a total rental area of almost 14,300 square meters and was designed as a multi-tenant building for small and large tenants. The new office building is located five minutes from the main terminal of the airport and is very well connected to the transport infrastructure of BER. There are connections both by train in the direction of Berlin city center (30 minutes) and via the autobahn and long-distance rail network.

Current tenants include COLLECTION Business Center, ARGO Holding GmbH, the DKW Group and WISAG Aviation Training and Development GmbH & Co. KG, Berliner Jungens Development GmbH, the Occupational Medicine Center - Dr. Matthias Wirth and the district of Dahme-Spreewald. "We're happy to have a good mix of different sectors," says Rapp. "Airport-related service providers are represented at FLEXGATE, as are real estate and office services and public administration.

FLEXGATE is the second office project to be realized by FAY Projects at the new Berlin airport, following the ²BAC completed in 2012.
