FAY Projects receives portfolio financing for sustainable commercial property FLEXGATE

FAY Projects and Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) have reached an agreement on long-term financing for the FLEXGATE at BER Airport. LBBW has provided a loan in the double-digit million range. The parties have agreed to keep the details of the transaction confidential. "The financing commitment confirms the quality and value of our property, which was completed last year," says Ralph Esser, Managing Director of FAY Projects.

FLEXGATE is located in the immediate vicinity of the main terminal of Berlin Airport (BER). The new seven-storey building has a rental area of 14,300 square meters and is over 90 percent let.

"The modern, high-quality and DGNB Gold-certified office property meets the highest energy efficiency standards. The property is a sought-after address, especially for airport-related companies or companies looking for short distances to the airport, but also to the city of Berlin," says Fred Will, the responsible account manager at LBBW.
 
The multi-tenant building is home to numerous companies from the airport and airline-related services sector as well as the real estate industry. The largest user is the Collection Business Center, which occupies 2,200 square meters of space.
