Completion and launch of the BRAIN BOX BERLIN office campus

After exactly three years of construction, the official opening ceremony of the office campus BRAIN BOX BERLIN in Adlershof took place on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 with a pre-opening of the new WANDEL restaurant by “Widynski & Roick GmbH” in the inner courtyard with about 90 invited guests. Together, Dirk Germandi and Robby Rieger (Profi Partner Projekt) opened the 25,000 sq m office campus with Hans Stuckart (ReInvest Asset Management) representing the owners and the architects Reimann and Glasenapp.

BRAIN BOX BERLIN is now complete and fit-out work is taking place for tenant companies in the units. The office campus is gradually coming to life with its users, as 85% of the space has already been leased. The small internal opening ceremony gave all new tenants and project participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and get to know each other so that they can work well together in the future. The steadily growing Adlershof Science City offers the best platform for this with around 1,200 companies and 22,000 employees, numerous startups, as well as research and university institutions. The BRAIN BOX office building will also be home to approximately 1,800 employees.

The central focal point of the office campus will be the new WANDEL restaurant with a modern, 700-square-meter dining room including a cozy lounge area and Wi-Fi, as well as a café and outdoor terrace. In addition, the WANDEL offers a separate space for events, exclusively bookable catering, and a cool after-work bar, which can also be used for events.

The first events took place on Wednesday, 8/25/2021 with the launch of the BRAIN BOX and an evening AG City Talk, each with invited guests as a test run. The new catering team of “Widynski & Roick” presented delicious delicacies from the kitchen at the pre-opening and gave initial insights into the new spaces. From Currywurst to goat cheese praline, from healthy salad bowls to schnitzel, fresh cakes, & coffee, the “Wandel” offers diverse, healthy, and delicious cuisine for everyday office life.

The “WANDEL” by Widynski & Roick offers a modern, healthy kitchen that can function as a cafeteria for all-round catering on campus and for the entire neighborhood in Adlershof/Johannisthal under the motto “Green enlivens.” The new opening for all guests is on 9/20/2021.
