GRK Group Acquires Two Apartment Buildings in Schönefeld near Berlin

The nationwide GRK Group is continuing its growth trajectory in the Berlin/Brandenburg metropolitan region and has acquired four apartment buildings in Schönefeld near Berlin. The purchase agreement for the buildings, with a total living space of approximately 2,600 square meters, was signed at the end of September. The acquisition was facilitated through CBRE, which brokered the sale on behalf of an institutional investor.

Targeted Investments in Existing Properties as a Growth Driver

With this recent acquisition, the GRK Group is consistently pursuing its strategy of targeted investments in existing properties in the capital region. “The acquisition of the apartment buildings in Schönefeld represents a significant project in our residential commitment in Berlin-Brandenburg,” explained Peter Wolf, Managing Director of the GRK Group. “We see long-term potential in the region that we aim to further unlock.” Six months ago, Fabian Henning, a proven market expert in the region, joined the GRK team. His presence on-site will support the development and expansion of a portfolio of existing properties.

Strengthening Regional Presence Despite Market Challenges

Just two months ago, the GRK Group acquired an apartment building on Feurigstraße in the Berlin district of Schöneberg and another divided apartment building in the district of Frohnau. “These three transactions within a short period demonstrate our determination to operate even in a challenging market environment,” said Peter Wolf. “We aim to manage and develop the residential properties in our portfolio. Additional investments in the greater Berlin/Brandenburg area are already being prepared.”

With the acquisition in Schönefeld, the GRK Group is strengthening its presence in the capital region. Under the project name “GRK starts Berlin,” the company aims to expand its commitment to the capital and meet the growing demand for high-quality residential space in and around Berlin through its existing properties.
