Ground breaking ceremony at SXF ONE

Kick-off for New Office Campus in Schönefeld. Indigo Invest is developing the first construction phase of SXF ONE. The Europe-wide construction and services company Goldbeck is acting as general contractor and will also become the anchor tenant of the new office building. An additional 2,400 square meters of office space is still available.

Together with Schönefeld’s Mayor Christian Hentschel and numerous guests, the ground breaking ceremony was held for the new office building, located within walking distance of the S-Bahn station and the former Berlin-Schönefeld Airport. The motto: SXF ONE ready for take-off. The six-story building – the first stage of the campus – is expected to be completed by autumn 2026, situated along the Berlin innovation corridor between Mediaspree and BER Airport, with direct access to the motorway.

Growth with Vision

In the long term, the ensemble will include a total of three buildings offering approximately 32,000 square meters of new office space. The campus will also feature a parking garage with over 460 spaces, making room for spacious green outdoor areas. The building permit for the second office building is expected to be submitted shortly. The total investment volume exceeds 100 million euros.

Goldbeck‘s New Office Location

Goldbeck will become the anchor tenant and consolidate all of its branches and services in the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region at the Schönefeld site. Additional office space is available for lease.

Sustainability Meets Comfort

Future tenants at SXF ONE can look forward to an attractive working environment. Highlights of the first building include two large rooftop terraces, a ground-floor cafeteria, and dedicated fitness and yoga rooms. A landscaped courtyard invites relaxation during lunch breaks and after work.

Energy-Efficient and Future-Oriented

The building’s design emphasizes high quality and sustainability: thanks to the use of photovoltaic systems, heat pumps, and geothermal energy, no fossil fuels will be used in daily operations. The Effizienzhaus 40 standard and the targeted DGNB Platinum certification underscore the commitment to sustainability.

Benjamin Schmidt, Head of the Berlin-Brandenburg Goldbeck branch, explains: “We are excited to create a new home for our teams in Schönefeld. This building represents a significant step into a promising future and offers a new space for interaction between our clients and employees. In our customer forum, visitors can experience building materials firsthand or explore their construction projects digitally via VR headset.”
