Verdion secures second global brand for Berlin logistics space

Pan-European logistics real estate specialist Verdion has secured a further occupier for Verdion PremierPark Berlin, its €100 million industrial and logistics hub in the German capital.

Brabus Automotive occupies space in PremierPark

High-end global automotive business Brabus Automotive GmbH has taken unit DC5, a total of 9,158 sq m, comprising 7,861 sq m of warehousing, an 862 sq m mezzanine and 435 sq m of offices/welfare at the eastern edge of the park.

The letting follows a global manufacturer of branded goods taking unit DC2 – a total of 12,134 sq m, including 10,462 sq m of warehousing, a 653 sq m mezzanine and 1,019 sq m of offices and welfare from February 2025

Sustainable spaces with expansion potential

The 150,000 sq m former brownfield site provides market-leading commercial and light production space in a landscaped environment within the Berlin submarket of Ludwigsfelde, close to the city’s ring road (A10) and 35 minutes from its centre. Further units are available to lease from 6,446 sq m upwards.

All new facilities have high standards of sustainability and operational efficiency, designed to reach DGNB Platinum and KfW40 design standards, and powered by clean energy.

Milestone in the Verdion portfolio

It is the largest asset in Verdion European Logistics Fund 1, which has invested over €300 million in the acquisition and development of logistics assets across Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and Czechia since its final close in 2020. The fund is fully invested and, following its successful capital raise, Verdion is now investing for its successor fund VELF 2.

Dominik Schäffer, Group Head of Asset Management at Verdion, added: “This warehousing is particularly attractive to large corporates looking for high quality space with advanced ESG features as well as access to the city’s road network and population. These lettings reflect the continuing flight to quality and appetite for flexible space designed to support operational efficiency, and we are in advanced talks with additional parties looking to expand here.”
