Medical Hair opens location in Berlin

GSG Berlin leases 753 square meters at Geneststraße 5 near Südkreuz station to hair specialist Medical Hair. The company focuses on medical hair treatments abroad, such as hair transplants and pigmentation, as well as trading in hair and cosmetic products. The premises, located in a historic commercial courtyard built in 1905/1908, where GSG Berlin itself is also headquartered, were occupied as of June 2025. The office space on the fifth floor offers not only high-quality fittings but also a panoramic view over Berlin. The office space was brokered by Combine Transaction.

What was once a no-man’s land in Berlin-Schöneberg has become a vibrant business and commercial location thanks to excellent transport connections and attractive office and commercial properties, where a variety of industries thrive,” Sebastian Blecke continued. “We wish them a good start.”

History and development of the commercial courtyard

The Geneststraße commercial courtyard was originally built in 1905/1908 for the production of electrical communication devices and pneumatic post systems for the company Mix & Genest. GSG Berlin took over the courtyard in 1973 and extensively renovated the five courtyards. In 2006, the complex was expanded with an attic conversion featuring large window fronts and room sizes ranging from 50 to 120 square meters. Overall, the conveniently located Geneststraße commercial courtyard offers over 100 commercial units, including workshops, offices, retail spaces, and production facilities.
