New BER long-haul route: flynas flies non-stop to Jeddah

The Saudi low-cost airline flynas is now connecting BER with Jeddah. This means that for the first time, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can now be reached directly from the capital region. The new route will be available three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays – and connects the capital with the lively coastal city on the Red Sea.

Flight times

Aircraft en route to Jeddah will take off from BER at 9:35 a.m. and land in Saudi Arabia at 4:45 p.m. The departure time in the opposite direction is at 3:55 a.m. and arrival at BER at 8:45 a.m. The flight takes a little over six hours. An Airbus A320neo aircraft will be used on the route.

Aletta von Massenbach, Chairwoman of the Management Board of Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH:

“We are delighted to welcome flynas to BER. The new long-haul route to Jeddah strengthens BER’s connectivity. Jeddah is a key commercial centre on the Red Sea and an attractive tourist destination. The new non-stop connection will enable travellers from the capital region to discover exciting destinations in Saudi Arabia more quickly and easily. At the same time, the capital region is an important destination for travellers from Saudi Arabia.”
