The municipality of Schönefeld is moving into the BB Business Hub

On Tuesday, 16 September 2025, Alpine Immobilien GmbH and the municipality of Schönefeld officially signed the rental agreement for the new town hall. From 2026, the core administration will operate from the BB Business Hub at Mittelstraße 3 for at least ten years.

An important step for Schönefeld

"The move is an important step for our municipal administration and the people of Schönefeld, whom we serve. The BB Business Hub comprises modern, central and citizen-friendly premises that will meet our growth needs both today and in the future," explains Mayor Christian Hentschel.

Long-term partnership sealed

"With the signing of the contract, everything is now on a secure footing. We are very pleased to welcome the municipality of Schönefeld as a long-term tenant in the BB Business Hub," says Thomas Graf, Managing Director of Alpine Immobilien GmbH. "Our goal is to provide the administration, employees and all citizens with a modern and easily accessible town hall."

Modern work environment at the BB Business Hub

The location in the historic centre of Schönefeld offers excellent public transport links and sufficient parking spaces for cars and bicycles. In addition, visitors to the town hall will benefit from the campus infrastructure, including catering and other services. The new offices are currently being tailored to the specific needs of the administration. 

The new building will provide around 7,000 square metres of office space for approximately 190 employees. The aim is to create a modern working and visitor environment that focuses on transparency, service orientation and customer friendliness.
