New urban housing project in Berlin-Kreuzberg

Within walking distance of Berlin’s Potsdamer Platz and Park am Gleisdreieck, PANDION has acquired another development site. On the 3,300 square meter site at Hallesches Ufer, a new building with 78 residential units, 38 underground parking spaces and 150 bicycle parking spaces as well as a green inner courtyard is planned in cooperation with a well-known Berlin architecture firm. The gross floor area is around 8,100 square meters. The sale of the apartments is expected to start in July 2022. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2024.

The project is part of a mixed district that is being built in and around the former Postbank Tower at the intersection between Mitte and Kreuzberg. The seller of the property is Art-Invest Real Estate, which is developing the district together with degewo. The parties to the contract have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.

Mathias Gross, PANDION Berlin Branch Manager, comments: “In the immediate vicinity of the Landwehr Canal, we are creating an attractive offer of apartments in a highly desirable environment. Hallesches Ufer is now one of the top locations in Berlin. Located at the intersection of Mitte and Kreuzberg, it combines the advantages of short distances to the city center with close proximity to the old Kreuzberg neighborhoods with their great gastronomy and special urban atmosphere.”
