Sirius Real Estate announces the construction of a modern hall in Berlin-Tempelhof

Sirius Real Estate is pleased to announce the start of construction on its new hall in Berlin. The project is being developed by DDS Edelweiss B.V. as part of the Sirius Real Estate Titanium Joint Venture. The new building project is located at Großbeerenstraße 2-10 and is part of the redensification of the Sirius Business Park Berlin-Tempelhof.

The hall will be usable as production, respectively storage and logistics space. Construction work began in the second quarter of 2023 and is expected to be completed within twelve months.

The new building will cover an area of around 2,990 square meters and include both office and sanitary space. With a ceiling height of between 7.30 and 9.30 meters and five doors, it is also expected to meet the needs of demanding production and logistics projects. Around 25 parking spaces will be available on site, including six e-charging stations with a total of twelve charging points.

The sustainability aspect played a central role in the planning of the project. The roof and part of the facade of the hall will be greened, and there are also plans to install a photovoltaic system with 268 kWp and a heat pump for the office space. For the hall, a certification according to the BREEAM Inventory Commercial Use with the rating level "Excellent" is aimed for.

"We are thrilled to be part of our Titanium joint venture to deliver the first new build project in Berlin," said Johannes Mueller, Head of Joint Venture at Sirius Real Estate. "The hall will be an important addition and redensification of the
Business Park Tempelhof and we look forward to offering our future tenants a modern as well as sustainable space for which we are seeking BREEAM excellent certification."
