SÜDKREUZ OFFICE in Berlin 60 percent leased before completion

The LIP Group was able to win additional prominent tenants for its SÜDKREUZ OFFICE ensemble in direct proximity to Berlin’s Südkreuz ICE train station, with whom contracts for a total of more than 2,000 m² were concluded. This means that almost 60 percent of the total space has been leased.

“After the German Aerospace Center and the Berliner Bäderbetriebe, Amadeus FiRe AG and its subsidiary, tax college Dr. Endriss, have also opted for the location,” said Michael Jordan, managing partner of LIP Ludger Inholte Projektentwicklung. With this project, LIP is realizing a total of approx. 20,000 sq m of office space and approx. 2,600 sq m of retail space on the location within sight of the Südkreuz ICE train station, which had already been leased to EDEKA at the start of the project. The first tenants will move in as early as the end of October 2021, and the two new tenants, Amadeus FiRe and Dr. Endriss, in the 1st quarter of 2022.

Michael Jordan said that “the latest round of leasing once again confirms our assessment that excellent transport links combined with a property of highly attractive quality provide tenants with compelling arguments for signing long-term leases, particularly in times of turbulence and uncertainty. Beyond that, in addition to efficient and flexible floor plans, our SÜDKREUZ OFFICE will be awarded LEED-Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification created by the Green Building Council upon its completion. This underlines our high standards of sustainable and resource-saving construction.” The architectural designs for the SÜDKREUZ OFFICES, which consist of two buildings divided into real parts, were created by the renowned Hamburg architects Hadi Teherani Architects and pbp - Prasch Buken Partner.
