Vector and Competo develop the “East Side Cubes” office building

The newly founded project developer VECTOR Real Estate GmbH (VECTOR) will work together with the investment and asset management specialist Competo Capital Partners GmbH from Munich to implement the 'East Side Cubes' project in Berlin’s Mediaspree. On the 3,550 m² property in the immediate vicinity of the Ostbahnhof Berlin, corner of Helen-Ernst-Strasse and Marianne-von-Rantzau-Strasse, the office building will be built according to the plans of the renowned architecture firm J. MAYER H. from Berlin and will be distinguished by modern and extraordinary architecture. The project will have a Gross Development Volume (GDV) of around 200 million Euro.

The office property with a gross floor area of around 15,000 m² on six floors will offer modern, fully equipped office space that meets ESG criteria for individual large users as well as for multi-tenant use, therefore achieving a high degree of flexibility in the letting. A positive preliminary building permit has already been obtained; after construction begins in spring 2022, the completion is planned for the end of 2023.

For the purchase, VECTOR and Competo were legally supported by the law firm McDermott Will & Emery in Düsseldorf and technically by the project management company BohnZirlewagen (Munich/Berlin), who will also support the implementation.
